To Whom Are You Thankful

To Whom Are You Thankful

“Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.” Psalm 100 NLT

Today is a day set aside for family, friends, and sharing a meal together. One where we are (meant) to remember all of the blessings we have in our lives in the midst of plenty or trial.

As I set about preparing food for my family and sharing my place in the annual traditions (like watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade or a handful of football games) my thoughts turn toward the ONE to whom I am truly thankful for all things. My prayer for you this day is that you know His grace.

“May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift His countenance upon you, and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26
